ACV contains malic and lactic acid which helps soften and exfoliate your skin. This skin toner is used to treat acne, help with blemishes and scar and achieve healthier skin in general.

To make this, you’ll need:

√ 3 parts water

√ 1 part apple cider vinegar

Take a clean bottle( spray bottle preferably), fill it 3/4th with water and add apple cider vinegar to the remaining 1/4th part. Shake well. Use it every morning and night after washing your face. You can spray it directly or apply by soaking a cotton ball in this toner.

Lemon is a natural bleach which helps lighten skin complexion. The acids in lemon juice are irritating and can do more harm than good when applied directly to the skin. Never go out in direct sun exposure because lemon juice can burn your skin and cause hyperpigmentation. Therefore, always dilute lemon juice with water for skin application. For lemon toner, you’ll need:

√ 1 ½ cups of  distilled water
√ ½ tbsp of lemon juice
√ 1-2 drops of lemon essential oil

Mix everything in a spray bottle and shake well. Use this every night before bedtime and rinse in the morning. Keep this toner in the fridge and it can last for about 2 weeks.

Sea Salt Toner

Salt has been used for centuries for therapeutic purposes. Sea salt is often used in scrubs because of its exfoliating properties. It can also be used in toners for the same purpose.

To make this toner, mix 1 tbsp of sea salt in a cup of warm water. Pour this in a spray bottle and it’s ready to use. Apply this morning and night after your cleansing routine.

Rosewater and Glycerin

To make your own rosewater and glycerin toner: simply, mix 1 1/2 cups of rose water and 1/4th cup of glycerin. Pour in a spray bottle. Shake well before use.
